Today’s session opened with a gap up but quickly reversed direction, only to reverse again minutes later. This choppy, back-and-forth action persisted throughout the day, making for a highly volatile environment. Such whipsaw markets tend to challenge trend-following strategies, as sustained moves rarely develop.
With these rapid and unpredictable swings, all of our strategies ended up in the red today—a reminder that not every session will offer clean trends or profitable signals. Staying disciplined and following the system remains the priority, no matter the day’s result.
